Freshwater Fishing Spots: Cape Cod Lake & Pond Map
Even though Cape Cod is surrounded by some of the best saltwater fishing waters in the Northeast, the freshwater fishing is great here too. The Cape is home to hundreds of freshwater ponds and lakes. Over 450 Cape Cod lakes and ponds search and browse them in map view and list view. Zoom in on satellite views and road maps.
There is some great trout fishing on Cape Cod with many ponds stocked with trout annually. There is also some great smallmouth and largemouth bass fishing in many of the Cape’s kettle ponds. Other catchable freshwater fishes include yellow perch, white perch, pickerel, bullheads, catfish and some salmon (stocked).
Some of Cape Cod’s more famous freshwater anglers included Daniel Webster, Joseph Jefferson and President Grover Cleveland
We have GPS (decimal latitude & longitude) coordinates and maps with driving directions for over 460 of the Cape’s lakes and ponds.
