A Real Old-Timer
The oldest meeting house in the United States is the West Parish Meeting House in Barnstable.
Its congregation was first assembled in London in 1616, and 13 years later came to Cape Cod. That was in 1629. The West Parish Meeting House is open each weekday afternoon to visitors.
The oldest meeting house has quite a history.
